Tri-Cities Best Recognizes Alessandra Dearing for Fourth Consecutive Year

What four consecutive years of community recognition say about local trust, service, and real estate guidance in the Tri-Cities.
Alessandra Dearing  |  September 2, 2026

For the fourth year in a row, I’ve been named one of the Best Real Estate Brokers in the Tri-Cities.

I’m incredibly grateful for that recognition, but what makes it meaningful to me is not simply the title. It is what sits behind it: the people who have trusted me to help them buy a home, sell a property, relocate to the Tri-Cities, or navigate an important transition.

Real estate is personal. There are contracts, numbers, inspections, negotiations, and deadlines, but there is also a person or family on the other side of every decision. My goal has always been to make those decisions clearer, manage the details carefully, and make sure my clients feel informed and well represented from beginning to end.

Being recognized by the Tri-Cities community for four consecutive years is something I do not take lightly. It is a reminder of why I approach this work the way I do and why trust matters so much when choosing a real estate agent.

What Does Tri-Cities Best Real Estate Broker Recognition Mean?

Tri-Cities Best is a community recognition program that invites local residents to nominate and vote for businesses, organizations, and professionals serving the Tri-Cities area. According to the program’s official rules, nominees and winners are chosen by the public through online nominations and voting, and the votes are tabulated by a third party.

That community element is what makes the recognition especially meaningful to me.

Awards are never the reason I do this work. They also should not be the only reason someone chooses a Realtor. But when the people in the community you serve continue to show their support year after year, it means something.

The 2026 Tri-Cities Best program included more than 3,100 businesses, organizations, and individuals across 227 categories and generated more than 624,000 votes.

For me, being recognized for a fourth consecutive year is less about adding another award and more about appreciating the relationships that made it possible.

Why Does Four Years of Recognition Matter?

One year can represent a great season. Consistency over several years says something different.

Real estate changes constantly. Market conditions shift. Interest rates move. Buyer expectations change. The strategy that works for one home may not be right for the next. Every client also arrives with a different goal, timeline, financial picture, and set of priorities.

What should stay consistent is how you are represented.

My clients should be able to expect clear communication, thoughtful preparation, attention to detail, honest guidance, and strong advocacy whether they are buying their first home, selling a longtime property, relocating from another state, or navigating a more complex move.

That consistency is what I want my reputation to be built on.

I am proud of the recognition, but I am even more proud when a past client calls me again, sends a friend or family member my way, or tells me they felt supported and understood throughout their transaction.

Those are the moments that tell me the work is being done well.

What Should You Look for in a Tri-Cities Real Estate Agent?

If you are searching for the best real estate agent in Tri-Cities WA, an award or online review can be a helpful starting point. It should not be the end of your research.

A strong local real estate agent should understand the Tri-Cities market, communicate consistently, explain the process clearly, develop a strategy around your specific goals, and know when to step forward and advocate firmly on your behalf.

You should also pay attention to how the agent makes you feel during the first few conversations.

Do you understand your options more clearly after speaking with them? Do they listen before recommending a strategy? Are they willing to explain why they are giving you certain advice? Do they understand the part of the Tri-Cities where you are buying or selling?

Those questions matter.

Buying or selling a home involves too many important decisions to work with someone who leaves you guessing.

I recently put together a more detailed guide on How to Choose The Best Realtor in Tri-Cities WA, including the questions buyers and sellers should ask before deciding whom to work with. My advice there is the same advice I would give someone interviewing me: look beyond a sales pitch and pay attention to communication, market knowledge, strategy, negotiation experience, and how clearly the agent understands your priorities.

Why Does Local Tri-Cities Experience Matter?

Real estate is local, and even within the Tri-Cities, the right strategy can change depending on the property, neighborhood, price range, and current competition.

I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities, and that local perspective is an important part of how I work. Today I help clients throughout Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, and surrounding communities. My website currently reflects more than 150 completed sales, along with experience helping buyers, sellers, investors, and people relocating to the area.

Local knowledge is not simply knowing which neighborhoods are where.

For a seller, it means understanding how buyers are responding to homes similar to yours, how your property should be positioned, what comparable sales actually matter, and where preparation or pricing could affect your outcome.

For a buyer, it means helping you compare neighborhoods, property types, commute considerations, new construction versus resale homes, and what you are actually getting at different price points.

For someone relocating to the Tri-Cities, it may mean answering questions that are difficult to solve from an online listing alone.

Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, and West Richland are connected, but they are not interchangeable. A good real estate strategy should reflect those differences rather than treating the entire Tri-Cities market as one broad category.

What Does My Approach Look Like for Buyers and Sellers?

My approach starts with listening.

Before talking about listings, pricing, or offers, I want to understand what you are actually trying to accomplish. Sometimes that answer is straightforward. Other times, a client is balancing a job change, family needs, timing, finances, another home sale, or several of those things at once.

Once I understand the goal, my job is to bring structure to the process.

For sellers, that means looking carefully at value, preparation, positioning, marketing, buyer response, offers, negotiations, inspections, and the details that need to stay on track through closing.

For buyers, it means helping you narrow your options, understand the local market, evaluate homes carefully, prepare a strong offer when the right property comes along, and know what to expect at each stage of the transaction.

There are times when my role is to reassure a client that the plan is working. There are also times when my role is to be direct, point out a concern, change the strategy, or negotiate firmly.

Good representation requires both.

The goal is not for you to become an expert in every part of a real estate transaction. The goal is for you to understand the decisions in front of you well enough to make them confidently.

Why Client Trust Matters More Than an Award

Recognition is wonderful. Trust is more important.

When someone asks me to help sell a home they have owned for many years, they are trusting me with more than a transaction. When a first-time buyer calls with questions about a process they have never experienced before, they are trusting me to explain it without making them feel rushed. When a client is moving to the Tri-Cities from somewhere else, they may be relying on me to be their eyes and ears locally.

Those responsibilities matter to me.

The feedback clients have shared about working with me repeatedly touches on many of the same things I value most: communication, responsiveness, local knowledge, thoughtful strategy, negotiation, and being present when circumstances become complicated.

That is the kind of experience I want every client to have.

So while I am very grateful to be recognized as one of the Best Real Estate Brokers in the Tri-Cities for a fourth year in a row, the recognition does not change the standard.

The work still comes down to listening carefully, preparing thoroughly, communicating clearly, and doing everything I can to help my clients make good decisions.

Choosing the Right Realtor for Your Tri-Cities Move

If you are comparing Realtors in Tri-Cities WA, take the time to find someone whose experience and communication style fit what you need.

Ask questions. Read reviews. Look at their knowledge of the specific areas you are considering. Talk through how they would approach your situation instead of settling for generic advice.

Most importantly, choose someone you feel comfortable calling when you have a question, when circumstances change, or when an important decision needs to be made.

Real estate can become complicated quickly. The right guidance should make it feel clearer, not more confusing.

If you are considering buying, selling, or relocating in Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, or the surrounding Tri-Cities, you do not need to have every detail figured out before starting the conversation. We can begin by looking at your goals, your timing, and the options in front of you, then decide what makes sense from there.
